600 foreign experts to welcome Tet in Quang Ngai (09/02/2010)
 

An officer from Quang Ngai Department of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs said there would be some 600 foreign experts to welcome Tet (The Vietnam’s Traditional New Year) in Dung Quat Economic Zone (DQEZ), Quang Ngai Province.


They are mostly Korean experts working in Dung Quat Economic Zone, now home to large-scale-multi-billion-USD plants, which will be still in high-speed operation during Tet Holiday.


Reportedly, the number of foreign experts this year is less than that last year as the Dung Quat Refinery has been completed and in operation.


Earlier, a provincial authority delegation made courtesy calls to companies in the site on the occasion of Tet Holiday, such as Binh Son Refining-Petrochemical Co., Ltd, Dung Quat Shipyard, Doosan Vina, Guang Lian Steel Co., ltd. and Dung Quat Refinery Project Management Board.
