Dung Quat site to be designed by Australian and American Consultants (09/02/2010)
 
The master planning of Dung Quat Economic Zone

The two leading consultant firms from Australia (Woodhead) and America (Design Group) and the Vietnam Institute of Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning (VIAP) on Feb. 4, met with Quang Ngai authorities about the planning for Dung Quat site and Quang Ngai City.

 

Chairman Hue requested that Dung Quat be designed into a green and modern industrial city.

 

The province will closely cooperate with partners to soon design the two sites as scheduled, he said.

 

Reportedly, in 2009, DQEZ was approved by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to be expanded up to 45,000 hectares instead of some existing 10,300 hectares.
