Earlier, on Mar. 29, 2009-a bulk of 1,006 tons of Boilers worth 1.9 million USD under the singed contract were transported to Brazil.

Doosan Vina broke ground its 300 million USD investment project on the 118 hectare site in February of 2007 and held the grand opening some 27 months later on May 15th 2009.

With 5 Business Units Boiler, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), Desalination and Chemical Processing Equipment (CPE), Doosan Vina focus on increasing annual production value at 700 million USD in the upcoming time.

With 1,800 workers, Doosan Vina also serves as a hi-tech on-the-job training center for local workers and the first large-scale FDI investor plans to increase employees up to 3000 in 2015.
