2000 tons of rice for the poor (06/02/2010)
 

Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Xuan Hue has just singed Decision to distribute 2000 tons of rice to the poor this upcoming Traditional New Year (Tet), a source from PPC office said recently.

 

Each beneficiary will receive 15 kg per month within two months, the source said.



The distribution is supposed to complete before Feb. 8th 2010.

 

Earlier, Quang Ngai Government assigned an amount of 3 billion VND to offer gifts to the poor on Tet Holiday.
