Quang Ngai Department of Foreign Affair has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mennonite Central Committee about a VND 275 million-aid package for Dioxin victims and Ketsana typhoon-affected people in Quang Ngai.

As signed, the fund will be spent on building 11 houses for the aforesaid beneficiaries in Binh Son district with a planned-construction duration of five months from December 2009 to April 2010.

MCC, an international humanitarian organization has worked in Vietnam in 1954 with various projects successfully implemented on different fields in twenty provinces and cities. In Quang Ngai province, MCC has made contribution to improving the quality of life of people, especially in the sector of health, training officials and emergency relief.
