SK Energy (Korea) to ensure smooth operation for Vietnam’s first oil refinery (17/09/2009)
 

Republic of Korea-based SK Energy on 15 Sept. signed a contract with Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Ltd., Co. (BSR), a subsidiary of Petro Vietnam, to ensure smooth and safe operation of Vietnam’s first 140,000bpd-oil refinery in central province of Quang Ngai.

 

SK Energy is the fourth largest conglomerate in South Korea, which is composed of 92 subsidiary and affiliate companies specializing in energy and telecommunications.

 

As signed contract goes, SK Energy with duration from 6 months to 2.5 years will mobilize 140 staffs to the Refinery in order to supply technologies to BSR and organize training courses for its staffs to be able to run the refinery independently.
