Dung Quat Refinery successfully turns out Mogas 92/95 (02/07/2009)

Key-Unit of Vietnam’s first Refinery, Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracker (RFCC) has successfully turned out Mogas 92/95 on July 1, a source from Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (BSR) said.


Since put in operation on June 24, RFCC, currently running at 70% of designed capacity, has generated LPG, Mogas 90/92/95, LCO, DCO.


As scheduled, Dung Quat Refinery is to operate 85% of designed capacity in July 25, 100% in August 25 and be officially handed over to Petro Vietnam by Oct. 25 2009.



Reportedly, BSR plans to export 10,000 tones of LPG and 10,000 tones of Mogas 92/95 via Refinery’s Jetty Port in July 4.

 

Earlier, 5000 cubic meters of Kerosene were shipped to PV Oil’s storages in Vung Tau for Vietnamese southern markets.
