Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet has just conferred the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” on 110 mothers in Quang Ngai’s districts of BInh Son (36), Son Tinh (28) Mo Duc (18) Duc Pho (14), Nghia Hanh (10), Tu Nghia (02) Tra Bong, and Quang Ngai City, a source from Department of Labor, Invalid and Social Affairs said.

 

Under the newly-signed-decision, President Triet said the heroic mothers had given great contributions to the national independence and freedom.

 

Quang Ngai has totally 2,440 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, of which 2,122 mothers died, the Department said.
