Over VND 225 billion for Tra River Dam  (15/06/2009)

Quang Ngai Government is to build a dam across Tra River with total expected cost of over VND 225 billion (over US$ 12.6 million), according to newly-signed Document No 973/QD-UBND dated 15 June 2009 issued by PPC Chairman Nguyen Xuan Hue.

 

The dam shall not only beautify Quang Ngai City but also storage and supply fresh water to Quang Ngai city and Dung Quat Economic Zone.

 

The 1,184.3 m long dam is projected to construct within 3 years (2009-11).

 

Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is assigned to be the project owner.
