A fund of 103 billion dong (over 5.7 million USD) has so far supported and undertaken to aid to Quang Ngai, said by Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) in its Yearly Meeting of International NGO Operating in Quang Ngai Province held on 8th May 2009.
As released by DoFA, to 2008, Quang Ngai welcomed 15 INGOs with 48 programs and projects worth around 58 billion dong (over $3.2 million).
The long-term donors are Plan International, World Vision (WVI), East Meet West Foundation (EMW), FHF, Giving it back to Kids, Madision Quarker Inc, CHKV, VVAF, D.O.V.E, SCR, Nawauri, Heifer,..
The number increases significantly in the first three months of the year with 25 programs worth 45 billion dong undertaken.
According to DoFA, the donors are mostly concerned about five-key-sectors; clean water and environmental hygiene (35%), health (18%), education (10%), socio-economic development (30%), and others.
As said by PPC Vice-Chairwomen Dinh Thi Loan programs and projects implemented by INGOs have been particularly pushing up socio-economic development in this central province.

As the briefs of DoFA goes, project of Reducing Flood and Storm Vulnerability implemented by WVI has to March 2009 helped 2,378 households getting high income, built 15 small-construction works and trained methods of disaster prevention to 16,991 pupil. While, project of Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene undertaken by Plan International to March 2009 has completed 6000 household-clean-water-supplying-constructions, WCs in 20 schools. In addition, EMW guaranteed to spend total fund of 9.9 billion dong on helping the disabled surgery and jobs. Or, FHF, within 2008-09, brings sight to 200 blind people, ect.
DoFA said Quang Ngai in 2009 continually calls donations in health, education, agro-fishery-forest sector, childcare, ect.
As said by Madam Loan, in the upcoming time, Quang Ngai is to further strengthen co-orperation with operating INGOs to improve effective achievements and promote new donors.
