PV Trans  to transport crude oil for Dung Quat Refinery (07/05/2009)
 
Signing Ceremony for transporting crude oil of Dung Quat Refinery

Petro Vietnam (PVO)-owned PV Trans has recently signed contract to transport crude oil for Dung Quat Refinery in the period of 2009-2014.

As the signed two-phased contract goes, PV Trans is to ship crude oil from Vietnam’s Bach Ho (While Tiger) oil field in Vung Tau city to Viet Thanh bay, Binh Son district as the input for the sake of Refinery operation.

A source from Bing Son Refining Company (BSR) said, in April over 60 tons of crude oil and 4000 tons of LPG were transported to the Refinery.

The Vietnam’s first Refinery, since started operation 22nd Feb 2009, has generated over 7000 tons of diesel oil.

It yesterday,  6th May turned out gasoline's product (Reformate-102 RON), said Nguyen Hoai Giang, BSR’s General Director.
