Refinery's pipeline system

Dung Quat Refinery Project Management Board has just asked contractor of PTSC Quang Ngai Co., Ltd to soon close the construction before the coming rainy season for sea dyke, which is designed to ensure safety for the Refinery’s marine items.

The 270m long, 60 m wide dyke with total invested capital of 2.2 million USD is constructed 6m above the sea level.

According to contractor, the dyke, including crude pipeline-protected systems from SPM to the Refinery, seawater intake pipeline, and outfall systems, once accomplished shall protect the Refinery’s marine items against corrosiveness of seawater.

Reportedly, over 200 engineers, workers and 65,000 cubic meters of stone have been mobilized to the site to kick off construction within 4 months as contracted, the contractor said.
