Singaporean Sembcrop, who holds the controling share in Binh Duong –based Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), is interested in investment of a project to provide a variety of services such as water and power supplies, environmental treatment for factories and plants operating in Quang Ngai’s Dung Quat Economic Zone (DQEZ).
Sembcrop revealed its intention at a recent meeting with Quang Ngai Provincial Government after its site visit and study in Dung Quat, confirming need to build up a satellite industries around the oil refinery to promote benefits the refinery could bring.
Sembcrop has been succeeding provision of the said industrial services, not only in Singapore but also in other countries in the world.
In addition to a success story of Sembcrop made in Binh Duong province, VSIP has now implemented several projects in the northern provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Phong, Vietnam. VSIP has established partnership with over 300 businesses, including world leading groups.
