A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) led by Deputy-Minister Nguyen Viet Thang has on 11th August visited Ly Son, an Island district, 18 miles offshore Quang Ngai coast
Right-away arriving at Ly Son, the delegation made a site survey to the newly-used-harbour worth around VND 44 billion with accommodation of over 500 fishing-boats
The delegation also met with the Border Post No. 328 encouraging them in joining efforts ensuring security and safety in the zone.
Meeting with local authorities, Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Thang pledged to report to the Central Government for some raised proposals: i.e developing second stage of the harbour, building fresh water storage, and growing protective forest.
