The General Contractor of Technip on 25th started Head Recovery Steam Generator B (HRSG), cleaning pipelines and generating power for the sake of test run, a source from Dung Quat Refinery Project Management Board (DQRPMB) said.
As designed, the Refinery has 4 HRSGs, A,B,C,D with capacity of 196 ton of pressure steam per hour, which are said to generate steam for the sake of running 4 turbines, each of which is designed at 27 MW.
The source said DQRPMB had imported 5000 ton of Diezel for the aforesaid test, and 6000 tons more would be imported in the coming up time for the three HRSGs of A, C and D
