Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has recently signed an MOU with Quang Ngai Department of Foreign Affairs regarding an aid package to be granted via Inclusion of Vietnamese with Disablities Project to be implemented in the province.
In line with the signed MOU, some USD 30,000 funded by CRS shall be earmarked for Quang Ngai as Phase I of a project that contributes to the common goal of “Inclusion of Vietnamese with Disablities Program”
The project is to facilitate the full participation of persons with disabilities (PWD) in all facets of life by ensuring equal access to education and employment and the enforcement of disability legislation at all levels to reaffirm PWD’s rights to represent their own needs and interests.
Catholic Relief Services is the international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States, founded in 1943, which provides assistance to some 80 million people in more than 100 countries and territories, including Quang Ngai, Vietnam.
