Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Council has in its recent 16 session approved to establish 4 upland communes of Ba Giang in Ba To district and Son Long, Son Lien, Son Mua in Son Tay district.
Ba Giang (1,521 people) is to cover the largest area of 5,420ha, followed by Son Long (3,702 people) 4,588 ha, Son Lien (1,535 people) over 3,718 ha and the last Son Mau (1,599 people) 3,718 ha.
The establishment drives the number of communes in Quang Ngai province up to 185 instead of 181
