Vietnamese Government has recently approved of iron ore exploration in Nui Vom and Nui Khoang, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province, a source from PPC said.
As the approval goes, the exploration is to be implemented before 2010 to soon estimate iron reserves for developing project of mining and processing.
As chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, Quang Ngai Government, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Industry and Trade shall co-ordinate to grant exploration license, after iron reserves ratified by the Reserve Assessment Council.
Reportedly, Van Loi Mineral Exploitation Company has proposed to explore the aforesaid ore.
