Quang Ngai Provincial Government has decided to brough a new wind of change in the way how Quang Ngai Market is managed: by an enteprise instead of a management board earlier. This is a positive move by the provincial government needed in the current socio-economic context of the locality as Vietnam has been intensively opening up its market to the world ouside.
Reportedly, Quang Ngai Farm Produce and Foodstuff Co., Ltd. won the bid package for further investment and operation of the market. The company revealed they planned to construct a 5-storey building (including a basement) to run the market in such a manner that should combine the styles of a traditional market and modern trading centre.
Existing Quang Ngai marketplace is situated right in the centre of the city downtown, covering an area of over 13,000 m2, providing venue for some 2,500 people coming to and from for trading transactions every day.
