It is said by Minister Hoang Tuan Anh in his recent meeting with Quang Ngai authorities in a bid to further boost local Culture and Tourism in the future.
As revealed by Dept. of Culture, Sport and Tourism (DoCST), Quang Ngai converge 25 national and 160 provincial value cultural and historical relics.
This 130 km seaside province also owns 2 wonderful resorts, 44 high-quality hotels, and currently 16 other tourist projects are under development.
As directed by the Minister, Quang Ngai, to reach goal of being an attractive Destination for visitors must improve and upgrade local tourist infrastructures; preserve as well as develop tangible and intangible values, traditional cultural activities.
Reportedly, Quang Ngai has in recent years attracted a large number of tourists, as briefed by DoCST, in 2006, 195,000 tourists visited, the number increase to 220,000 in 2007, and for the first 6 months of the year 2008, the rate jump up 4% against that last year, i.e some 120,000 visitors.
