44 journalists of 25 world leading Medias from AFP (French), Reuter (England), NHK (Japan) Wincossin Public Radio (US), and Al Jazerra (Quatar) arrived at Quang Ngai for the first six months of the year, an increase of 20 delegations against that last year, a source from Dept. of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) said.
They mostly reached this central province to have make films and reportages on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of My Lai massacre 16th March 1968 -16th March 2008, especially the local socio-economic development nowadays was also attracted them, the source said.
Also as released by DoFA, it during a half of the year welcomed 557 foreign visitors from Japan, Korea, US, etc coming for social-economic-investment survey, charitable activities, culture exchanges.
