Quang Ngai Provincial Government has yesterday 30 May 2008 instuted Quang Ngai Employment Foundation, an organization to provide people with supports in seeking employment.
The finance of the foundation shall come from various sources such as provincial budget, support from organizations and individuals and others.
Employment Foundation shall provide those who wish to work abroad with loans so that they could cover certain initial expenses. Loans shall be also given to the ethnic minorities and the poor to either start their own business or create appropriate self-employment.
Quang Ngai is an agriculture-based province with some 70% of its population live on agricultural production in rural areas. Seeking off-farm activities has recently become an urgent need, as the agrable land is limited and the population is expanded year by year.
