Deputy Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem has just approved in principle for Sub-Agreement of two Governments; Viet Nam and Australia about Implementation Support Program (ISP) under 135 Program Phase 2 (P135-2) in Quang Ngai, a source from Chinh Phu Website said.
As released by the site, Quang Ngai Government is granted authority to sign the Agreement.
Reportedly, the Government of Quang Ngai worked out Framework to implement P135 -2 in the province in the period of 2008-2010, which shall be composed of two parts; (1) mechanism & policy (2) P 135-2’s Components such as; basic infrastructure; improved and market-oriented agriculture production; improved socio-cultural livelihoods through better access to social services; and capacity building for officials at all levels to better implement the program.
P135-2 shall be implemented in 43 poor and mountainous communes in 6 upland districts throughout the province.
