Thriving Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint-stock Company (HAGL) whose boss has recently become the first Vietnamese to own a private aircraft (bought from the United States for US$7 million) is on the way to expand its business to the central province of Quang Ngai.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s presence in Quang Ngai was confirmed by the fact that the Provincial People’s Committee Chairman had approved in principle the company’s proposals of investing in a 15-ha-large steelmill in Pho Phong Industrial Zone, about 45 km south of Quang Ngai Downtown.
HAGL had also got preliminary approval from the Provincial Government to construct a lhigh-rise and luxurious hotel right in Quang Ngai Downtown.
The company was said to seek for possibilities of investing a residential area in the province’s capital of the same name.
