Quang Ngai Fishery Department has recently reported the provincial seafood processing value for the first 9 months of the year is recorded at USD 6.2 million, a y-o-y increase of 44.9%, accounting for 89.3% the figure set forth.
As said by the Department, Quang Ngai-based enterprises in a goal of improving quality products have paid much attention to upgrade processing lines. So far the year, over 2,600 tons of seafood have been manufactured, 33.1% up against that last year, of which 1,650 ton exported and 965 tons domestically consumed .
