Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee has recently decided to spend VND 39 billion on upgrading QN Tele & Radio Station sourced from the provincial Budget.
The amount is reported to be expended on building a 2,875 m.sqr studio and other facilities.
Reportedly, Quang Ngai is so far the first Province in Viet Nam to transmit TV signals to mountainous districts though Tele-communication cables. Hre, Cor ethnic groups can now enjoy 3 channels of Vietnam Television (VTV), PTQ and programs in Hre & Cor languages. This is an efficient and effective method to timely update people in remote areas with provincial and national socio-economic context as well as international news.
