Mobile phone users are able to cast their votes via the Internet or ballot-paper, an eChip official said.

Network quality, customer service, value added services and trademark popularity are four norms for users to vote for their favourite mobile carrier.

For the title “favourite mobile phone manufacturer”, the organiser said that there would be a list of manufacturers, most of which had been introduced in eChip issues.

Four other minor awards are the fashionable mobile; the best photo-shot mobile; the best music mobile and the best job-support mobile.

The Vietnam Mobile Awards started last year with over 30,000 participants nationwide. This year’s contest is being held under the sponsorship of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Ministry and Vietnam Science and Technology Association.
