 Universities move toward standardisation in 2005 (03/11/2004)

As of 2005, the Ministry of Education and Training will begin implementation of its transparent education quality evaluation system.

 

The ministry will gradually implement standards from developed countries to assess education and training quality in specific fields to prepare conditions for joining the international education quality evaluation system.

 

In the 2005-2006 school year, the ministry will assess the education and training quality of around one-fifth of Vietnam’s universities.

 

All universities in Vietnam are to be evaluated over the next 2-3 years based on two standards: training and research.
