Overview
Quangngai is one of provinces in the key economic areas of the central Vietnam having National Highway No1A and Trans - Viet Railway going paralelly along the length of the province and National highway No 24 - an important east-western rout.  With 130 Km length of coast in the west; Dung-quat Bay in the north with the total area 30 km2 13-20 m deepth being invested to construct a deep-sea port in large scale of the country. The ability of sea-economy development is an important strong point of the province. Most of Quangngai soil is favourable for long-term industrial plants especially fruit trees and medical tree. Downstream watershed fat lands are favorable for planting rice short- term industrial plants and vegetables . Quangngai also has a lot of mineral resources: Graphite with 4 million tons in reserve (2.5 million tons exploitable) average carbonic volume of 20%; 1 million tons of silimanite ore; 476000 m3 of coal slime; 4 millions tons of kaolin ... Quangngai has historical relics with old-age historical heritages such as Sahuynh relics, ancient Cham cultural sites well-known historical memorials such as BaTo SonMy VanTuong and several good seashores such as Khehai Mykhe Minhtan Sahuynh ... offerring good conditions to develop tourism. |
