Son - Director of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that in
2018, the Department has implemented synchronously all aspects of the sector
and achieved many positive results.
The sector has created new jobs and adding jobs for more
than 40,000 employees; nearly 6,200/7,294 graduated students have jobs right

employees reached 51%. The rate of poor households in the province has
decreased by 1.77%.
More than VND460 million has been mobilized for the
provincial gratitude Fund.
Besides, in 2019, the Department also advised the Provincial
People's Committee to issue Decision to buy health insurance cards for more
than 737,250 social protection objects; received and distributed more than
4,063 tons of rice for flood recovery for 119,839 households, 273,900 people.
The sector also visited and presented gifts for over 21,444
elderly people. Over 12,500 disadvantaged children are cared for and protected.
The provincial Child Protection Fund has mobilized over VND
35 billion to help more than 25,000 children in difficult circumstances,
especially supporting fund for free surgeries for 160 children with congenital
In 2019, the sector strives to achieve 100% of the
socio-economic targets in the field assigned by the provincial People's
Committee. Striving to create new jobs and create jobs for 40,500 workers;
urban unemployment rate at 3.5%, export 1,900 labors; reducing the poverty rate
in the province down to 7.97%; etc.
Addressing at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee Dang Ngoc Dzung asked the Department of Labor, Invalids and
Social Affairs to pay more attention to the work of ensuring occupational
safety at works, factories and plants in the province and other issues.
From now until the end of March 2019, the PPC’s Vice
Chairman asked the sector to review all the targets of the Congress’s
Resolution, assessing in detail the unattainable targets and clearly stating
the reasons for drawing experiences, developing plans for the next period.
